The work

From the mud and momentum of a rugby pitch to the quiet minutes before a wedding ceremony, I photograph people at full intensity. I work with organisations, brands, couples and families — in Uganda, across East Africa, and wherever the assignment leads.

Videography & reels

Alongside photography I film short-form reels and event videos — highlights for weddings, brands and sporting occasions, cut for social media and the big screen.

The photographer

Nakitende Lillian

I am Nakitende Lillian, a photographer based in Kampala, Uganda. My work spans professional sport, weddings, corporate events and portraiture. I photograph rugby, football and cricket from the touchline; ceremonies and celebrations from the front row; boardrooms, conferences and award nights from the inside. What connects it all is the same instinct: anticipating the moment before it happens and being ready when it does. I photograph with respect for the people in front of the lens and deliver work that organisations and families are proud to publish and keep. I am available for assignments throughout Uganda and East Africa, and I travel worldwide for commissioned work.
