Behind the camera

I am Nakitende Lillian, a photographer based in Kampala, Uganda.

My work spans professional sport, weddings, corporate events and portraiture. I photograph rugby, football and cricket from the touchline; ceremonies and celebrations from the front row; boardrooms, conferences and award nights from the inside.

What connects it all is the same instinct: anticipating the moment before it happens and being ready when it does. I photograph with respect for the people in front of the lens and deliver work that organisations and families are proud to publish and keep.

I am available for assignments throughout Uganda and East Africa, and I travel worldwide for commissioned work.
